Summary
If an offer is not the right fit, you can decline it in Kiddo before the deadline. The center can offer the spot to another family. What happens to your waitlist place depends on the center's policy.
Before you start
- Sign in with the email the center used for the offer.
- You need an active Offer Received on Home or from your email link.
Steps
- Sign in at app.joinkiddo.com.
- Open Home and find the offer card for your child.
- Select Reject.

- Confirm in the Decline Offer dialog when asked.

You can also open the offer from the email link, sign in, and choose Reject on Home.
What happens next
- The spot is released for the center to offer to another family.
- Your status may show Offer Declined. You might remain on the waitlist for future spots — the center will email you if policy allows re-offers.
- Declining releases that spot for another family. You may still be on the waitlist for future spots — ask your center if you are unsure. A new offer later is a separate invitation.
If you change your mind before declining, accept instead — see How to accept an enrollment offer.
Common questions
What if the deadline passed?
Unanswered offers expire. Contact the center if you still want the spot — they may send a new offer if it is available.
Will declining remove us from the waitlist?
Not automatically. Many centers keep you on the waitlist for other spots. Ask your center if you are unsure.
I declined by mistake
Contact the center immediately. They may be able to send a new offer if the spot is still open.
