Getting started

Sign in with email (verification code)

Summary Kiddo signs you in with a verification code sent to your email — there is no password to remember. Use the same email address your center has for your family. Before you start - Know which email the center used when you joined the waitlist (check your application confirmation email). - Use a browser where you can open mail on this device, or switch to the device where your email arrives. Steps 1. Go to app.joinkiddo.com. 2. Select the Parents tab. Parents tab with email field on the login page 3. Enter your email address. 4. Select Continue (or Sign in with Email on pages that link you from an email). 5. Kiddo opens Check Your Email and sends a verification code to your inbox. Check Your Email with verification code entry and Resend 6. Enter the 6-digit code on that page. Kiddo signs you in when the code is correct — usually on Home, your waitlist application, or the page you opened from email. Sign in from an email (offer, payment, documents) Many Kiddo emails include a Sign in with Email button. Select it, confirm your email if asked, then enter the verification code on Check Your Email. After sign-in, Kiddo takes you to the action in that email (accept an offer, pay a fee, upload a document, etc.). What happens next After sign-in you stay signed in on that browser until you sign out or clear site data. On a new device, repeat the email and code steps. Common questions I did not get the email Check spam and promotions folders. Wait a few minutes, then select Resend on the Check Your Email page (after the countdown), or start again from the login page. Make sure you typed the same email the center has on file. The code says it is invalid or expired Codes expire after a short time for security. Select Resend on Check Your Email for a fresh code, or start again from app.joinkiddo.com (Parents tab). Use the newest email if you received more than one. Can I use Google sign-in? If your center invited you with Google, you may see Continue with Google on the login page. Otherwise use your email and verification code. I applied but Kiddo says it cannot find my account You may need to finish applying on the center's waitlist form first, or use the exact email from your application. Contact the center if you are unsure which email they have. Related articles - How to accept an enrollment offer - How to join a center's waitlist - In the app: login at app.joinkiddo.com → Parents

Tours

Book a tour at a center

Summary Tours let you see a center in person before or while you are on the waitlist. Book online when the center shares a link, or follow an invitation from email. Before you start - Sign in with the email the center has for your family — Sign in with email (verification code). - Have the center's tour booking link or an email invitation with a booking button. Book from the center's link 1. Open the tour link the center shared (often from their website or email). 2. Sign in to Kiddo if prompted. 3. Choose your location if the center has multiple sites. 4. Pick an available date and time slot. 5. Confirm the booking. You receive a confirmation email with details. Book from an email invite If staff sent Invite to Schedule Tour, open the email, sign in, and select an open slot the same way. After you book - Home shows tour status as Scheduled with the date and time. - You can view tours under My Tours (if available in your account menu). - To reschedule or cancel, use the link in your confirmation email or contact the center. Common questions I do not see any open times The center may not have published availability yet, or slots are full. Email the center or check back later. Can I tour before applying to the waitlist? Centers set their own rules. Some require a waitlist application first; others share the tour link publicly. I booked but did not get a confirmation email Check spam folders and confirm you used the same email as your Kiddo account. See Not receiving emails from Kiddo. Troubleshooting

Not receiving emails from Kiddo

Summary Kiddo and your center send important email — sign-in links, offers, tour confirmations, and payment requests. If nothing arrives, work through these checks before assuming an account problem. Before you start - Know which email you used on the waitlist application. - Check the same inbox on phone and computer (sync can delay). Steps 1. Check spam, promotions, and filters Search for messages from your center's name or Kiddo. Add the sender to your contacts so future mail is not filtered. 2. Confirm the email on your application Sign in at app.joinkiddo.com and verify Home shows the center you expect. If you applied with a typo, contact the center to update your email. 3. Request a new sign-in link On the Parents login tab, enter your email and request a fresh verification code — see Sign in with email (verification code). Codes expire after a short time; old codes will not work. 4. Wait a few minutes Email can lag during busy periods. Wait 5–10 minutes before requesting duplicate links (too many requests can temporarily slow delivery). 5. Contact the center If offers or document requests never arrive but Home shows the task, the center can resend from their side or confirm which email they have on file. Two kinds of email | From | Examples | | --- | --- | | Kiddo (platform) | Sign-in link, account security | | Your center (via Kiddo) | Waitlist confirmation, offers, tours, documents | Both should arrive at the email on your guardian profile. Centers cannot send to an address you never provided. Common questions I get Kiddo sign-in mail but not center offers Offers send to the email on your waitlist application. Confirm with the center that your address matches and ask them to Resend Offer Email if an offer is active on Home. Can I switch to SMS? Some centers enable SMS for select messages. Email is still used for many actions. Update notification preferences when the center provides them. Should I create a second Kiddo account? Use one email per family. Multiple accounts split your applications. Merge by contacting the center if you signed up twice by mistake. Waitlist

Finish an incomplete waitlist application

Summary Incomplete means you started a waitlist application at a center but have not submitted it yet. You are not fully on the waitlist until you finish the form and submit. Kiddo may email you reminders — finish the form when you can so the center can keep your application active. Before you start - Sign in at app.joinkiddo.com with the email you used when you started. - Have the center’s waitlist link (from their website or email), or use Home → Add Child to return to the application. How you know an application is incomplete On Home, the center card may show Incomplete for that child. That usually means you saved progress through part of the form — often after you entered Enrollment Information (start date, schedule, or program preferences) — but did not reach the final submit step. If you only filled in parent or child details and closed the browser, you might not see Incomplete yet. Open the waitlist link again, or select Add Child on Home, and continue where you left off. How to finish and submit You can pick up where you left off from Home or the center’s waitlist link. From Home 1. Sign in and open Home. 2. Select Add Child at the top of the page. 3. If you applied at more than one center, pick the center for this application. 4. Kiddo opens that center’s waitlist form with your saved information. 5. Complete any remaining steps: - Parent Information - Child Information - Enrollment Information (Preferences for each child) - Payment Information (if the center charges a waitlist fee for this child) 6. Select Submit Payment when the total is correct, or Submit Application on Enrollment Information if your center does not charge a fee. When the application is complete, Home should show On Wait List instead of Incomplete. From the center’s waitlist link 1. Sign in to Kiddo. 2. Open the center’s waitlist link from their website or email. 3. Complete any remaining steps (same as above), then select Submit Payment or Submit Application. If you already applied for another child at the same center, Kiddo may open the form directly and list your existing children. Finish enrollment and payment for the child who is Incomplete. What you'll see on Home Add Child button on Home When an application is unfinished, the center card on Home shows Incomplete (not Submitted — date). Home showing Incomplete status on a center card For more screenshots of the form steps, see How to add another child to the waitlist. Reminder emails The center may send up to three reminder emails asking you to finish. Default timing is about 2, 4, and 7 days after you started — your center can change this. Emails come from the center’s name (sent through Kiddo) and include a link back to your application. Check spam if you do not see them. These reminders are for unfinished applications. They are different from emails about a waitlist fee after you already submitted — see Pay a waitlist or enrollment fee. What happens if you do not finish If you do not submit after the reminders run their course, the center may no longer keep that application on their active waitlist. You might not receive a separate email when that happens. Home may still show a waitlist-related label even when you are not actively in line — see Understand your waitlist status. When in doubt, contact the center to ask whether you should reapply. The 7-day completion window Centers care about when you submit, not just when you start. Reminder emails often mention keeping your original application date for waitlist priority. If too much time passes before you submit, you may need to start fresh when you return. Your place in line is generally based on your submission date, not the day you first opened the form. Incomplete vs payment still owed | What you see | What it usually means | What to do | | --- | --- | --- | | Incomplete | Form not submitted yet | Finish all steps and submit | | On Wait List with Pending or Overdue payment | Application submitted; fee not paid | Pay from Home or the link in your email | Common questions Am I on the waitlist while it says Incomplete? Not fully. The center can see that you started, but you are not in the same position as families who completed and submitted. I thought I finished — why does it still say Incomplete? You may have stopped before the final submit step, or before payment if a fee is required. Select Add Child on Home or open the waitlist link again and look for any step still open. Can I save and come back later? Yes. Use Save & Exit on the form if you need to pause. Return through Home → Add Child or the waitlist link while you still have time to submit. Save and Exit on the waitlist form Does waiting to submit affect waitlist priority? Often yes — many centers use your submission date for priority. Finish when you can; the reminder emails explain the timing your center uses. The center said they no longer have our application — can we reapply? Yes. Use the center’s waitlist link again or ask them to resend it. See How to join a center's waitlist. Offers

How to accept an enrollment offer

Summary When a center sends you an offer, a spot is available for your child — you have until the deadline on Home to accept or decline before it expires. This guide explains how to respond in Kiddo. Before you start - Sign in to Kiddo with the email address the center has on file for your family. - You need an active offer — check Home or your email for a notification from the center. Steps 1. Sign in at app.joinkiddo.com (Parents tab → enter your email → enter the verification code on Check Your Email). 2. Open Home. 3. Find the offer card for your child — it shows the center name and deadline. Offer card on Home with classroom, schedule, and start date 4. Review the classroom, schedule, and start date shown on the offer. 5. To accept, select Accept, then confirm in the Accept Offer dialog. Accepting secures the spot and starts enrollment steps your center requires. Accept and Reject buttons on the offer notification Accept Offer confirmation dialog 6. To decline, select Reject, then confirm in the Decline Offer dialog. Declining releases the spot; your child stays on the waitlist unless the center tells you otherwise. You can also open the offer from the link in your email — sign in when prompted, then follow the same steps on Home. What happens next If you accept: Your application status updates to show the offer is accepted. The center may ask for enrollment documents or fees next — watch Home and your email. If you decline: The spot goes to another family. You remain on the waitlist at that center unless you withdraw. If the deadline passes: The offer expires. Contact the center if you still want a spot — they may send a new offer if one is available. Common questions I missed the deadline. Can I still accept? The offer may already be expired in Kiddo. Email the center directly — they decide whether a new offer is available. Can two guardians respond? Any guardian on the family account can accept or decline while the offer is active. Only one response counts — the first completed action applies. What if I accept by mistake? Contact the center right away. They can help from their side; do not assume the spot is still open if you need to reverse your answer.
