Summary
Sometimes a center emails to ask whether you still want a spot on the waitlist. That is a continued-interest check — a quick way to keep the list accurate without phone tag. Reply through the link in the email when you can.
Before you start
- Use the email address on your waitlist application — the message goes there.
- You need access to that inbox (check spam if you do not see it).
This applies after you submitted a waitlist application. It is not the same as the short interest form, which does not put you on the waitlist.
Steps
- Open the email from the center (sent through Kiddo).
- Read what the center is asking and any by when date in the message.
- Select the link in the email to open Kiddo.
- Sign in with a verification code sent to the same email if Kiddo asks — see Sign in with email (verification code).
- Follow the on-screen steps to confirm you still want care (or indicate you no longer need a spot, if that option is offered).
- When you are done, you should see confirmation on screen or in a follow-up email from the center.
You do not need to create a password.
What happens next
- The center can see that you responded. Your place on the waitlist is not a guarantee of a spot — it means your application stays active in their process.
- If you confirm, the center knows you are still interested. If you ignore the message, they may email again, call you, or change how your application is handled after their policy allows — Kiddo does not always send another reminder before that happens.
- You will not see internal waitlist rank or priority on Home — only your application status. See Understand your waitlist status.
Common questions
Do I have to respond?
Centers use these check-ins to keep the waitlist current. If you still want care, respond by the date in the email when you can. If your plans changed, use the link to say so or contact the center directly.
I already told the center by phone — do I still need to click the link?
The email link is how Kiddo records your response for the waitlist. If you already spoke with someone, you can still use the link so your application stays up to date — or ask the center what they prefer.
Will this remove me from the waitlist if I miss the email?
That depends on the center's settings. Some centers send more than one continued-interest email; others may move inactive applications off their active list without a separate warning email. If you are worried you missed a message, sign in and check Home, or contact the center. See Understand your waitlist status and Not receiving emails from Kiddo.
Does confirming give me a tour or an offer?
Not automatically. It only tells the center you still want a spot. They may follow up about tours or offers separately.
